Here’s the 3 S Formula that God showed me—Seek + Surrender + Show Up = Success!
1. Seek God First in Your Fitness Journey
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33
Before you open your fitness tracker, your fridge, or your to-do list—open your Bible.
When we seek God first, we get our priorities straight and our hearts aligned with His.
Ask Him:
- “Lord, how can I honor You today with my food, my fitness, and my thoughts?”
- “What lie am I believing about myself that You want to replace with truth?”
Seeking Him daily will anchor you in your identity in Christ and protect you from the pressure of worldly standards.
2. Surrender Daily—Not Just Once
“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:6
This isn’t a one-time prayer. It’s a daily choice.
- Surrender the guilt from yesterday.
- Surrender the pressure to look a certain way.
- Surrender the temptation to do it all on your own.
Lay it all at the feet of Jesus—every single day. This is what faith-based fitness looks like. Not hustle, not shame—just surrender.
3. Show Up in the Power of the Holy Spirit
“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. – Zechariah 4:6
You don’t need more willpower—you need God’s power.
Before your workout, before you choose what to eat, take a deep breath and pray:
“Holy Spirit, help me honor You today.”
This simple act will shift your mindset from performance to purpose.
The world tells you to grind. God tells you to abide in Him.
