Do you look at your day and wonder, “How am I supposed to get all of this done by myself?”
These 8 Scriptures will help you see that God is right there with you. He wants to help you, guide you, and give you the peace and clarity you need for whatever you’re facing today. Listen to this to let Him meet you right where you need Him today.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, confused, or unsure what to do next, this episode will remind you that God is not the author of confusion. He is a God of peace, wisdom, order, and direction.
I think so many Christian women are tired right now.
Mentally. Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually.
These aren’t just 8 random Bible verses. These are 8 situations that steal our peace and what God says about every single one of them.
I really believe these Scriptures can become your first line of defense when overwhelm, confusion, pressure, and uncertainty try to take over.
Because I know this feeling too. I have days where I wake up, walk into my office, look at my calendar, my responsibilities, my messages, the things I need to film, the workouts, the work, the people who need something from me, and honestly it can feel like a mountain that is too steep to climb.
One thing God has really been showing me is that a lot of overwhelm comes from striving instead of being led by Him.
So today we’re going to walk through the situations overwhelming Christian women right now and what God says about every single one of them.
I recently posted this on my Instagram. Go save it as a reminder.

8 Scriptures to Help You Find Peace and Clarity
1. When You’re Overwhelmed Trying to Hear From God
Scripture: John 10:27
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
I think Christian women make hearing from God way more complicated than it needs to be.
So we strive. We overthink. We look for signs. We chase confirmation.
We ask everyone else what they think God is saying.
But hearing from God is not complicated.
Open your Bible. Read His Word. That is how He speaks to us. His voice will never contradict Scripture. And the more time you spend with Him, the more you recognize His voice leading your life. The pressure lifts when you stop striving for some huge spiritual experience and simply walk with Him daily.
Action Step: Before you grab your phone in the morning, open your Bible first. Even if it’s just 10 minutes. Stop chasing everyone else’s voice before hearing God’s voice.
2. When You’re Overwhelmed by Everyone Else’s Opinions
Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Some women are overwhelmed because they are listening to too many voices instead of letting God lead them.
Sometimes people use Scripture completely out of context to shame women. Religion obsesses over appearances. God looks at the heart. And I think some women are exhausted trying to follow rules God never even made.
If you have peace with God about something and it aligns with His Word, other people do not get the final say over your life.
Your steps are ordered by the Lord.
Action Step: Ask yourself, “Is this conviction from God or pressure from people?”
3. When You’re Overwhelmed Trying to Be the Perfect Christian Woman

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
I think some women are exhausted because they’re trying to earn closeness with God instead of receiving relationship with Him.
You do not have to perform for God. You do not have to prove yourself to Him. You do not have to exhaust yourself trying to be perfect.
Grace is received. Not earned.
And honestly, sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is stop striving and sit with Jesus.
Action Step: Pray over your schedule, and cross one unnecessary thing off your to-do list today.
4. When You Can’t Say No
Scripture: Galatians 1:10
“Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God.”
People pleasing will absolutely drain your peace. Some of you are overwhelmed because you are saying yes to things God never asked you to carry.
You care too much what everyone thinks.
You don’t want to disappoint anyone.
You feel responsible for everyone’s emotions.
But Jesus had boundaries. And you are allowed to have them too. Not every opportunity is an assignment from God.
Action Step: Practice saying, “Let me pray about that and I’ll get back to you.”

5. When You’re Doing Too Much
Scripture: Luke 10:41-42
“Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things.”
This story is so powerful because Martha loved Jesus. But she was distracted. She was overwhelmed, striving, and trying to do everything.
Meanwhile Mary sat at His feet.
Jesus never praised the striving.
He praised the closeness.
And I think some women are overwhelmed not because they have too much to do but because they are trying to carry life without being filled by Him first.
Being busy is not the same thing as being spiritually healthy.
Action Step: Ask God, “What can I let go of? What am I carrying that You never asked me to carry?”
6. When Your Emotions Run Your Day
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:33
“For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.”
Sometimes I wake up and everything I have to do feels like too steep of a mountain to climb. The messages. The responsibilities. The workouts. The work. The filming. The pressure. The decisions.
And honestly, when I start my day reacting emotionally to everything instead of letting God lead me, overwhelm grows fast.
God has really shown me that I need structure rooted in peace.
Time blocking has helped me so much because it gives my day order instead of chaos.
God is a God of order. And overwhelm often grows when emotions run us instead of letting Him lead us.
Action Step: Write down your top three priorities for tomorrow and ask God to help you walk through your day with peace instead of pressure.
7. When You Don’t Know What to Do
Scripture: Isaiah 30:21
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.'”
You do not have to panic your way through life.
God knows how to direct you. God knows how to lead you. God knows what is ahead.
And sometimes the next right step becomes clear when we finally get quiet enough to hear Him.
God brings clarity. Not confusion.
Action Step: Spend time praying and reading Scripture before looking for outside opinions.
8. When You’re Trying to Carry Everything Alone
Scripture: Matthew 11:28
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Jesus never asked you to carry life without Him.
Rest is not weakness. Rest is trust.
And maybe today you just need permission to stop trying to hold everything together by yourself.
Action Step: The next time you feel overwhelm rising, stop and pray before spiraling. Even a simple, “Jesus, help me.”
