Have you noticed how loud the world has become?
Everywhere we turn, someone is telling us how to be healthier. Lose weight. Take the latest weight loss injection. Count your macros. Hit your protein goal. Walk 10,000 steps. Lift heavier. Reverse aging. Shrink your waistline. Become the “best version” of yourself.
There is advice everywhere.
Some of it is helpful.
Some of it is confusing.
Some of it contradicts what we heard just a few months ago.
Yet for all the information available today, so many Christian women still feel discouraged, guilty, and like they’re starting over every Monday.
If that’s you, I want you to know something. You’re not alone. And I don’t think the answer is another diet.
We’ve Forgotten to Ask the Most Important Question
Before I go any further, let me say this:
There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be healthy.
I believe caring for the body God gave us is an act of stewardship. We should want to feel strong, have energy, and take care of the life God has entrusted to us.
But after spending more than thirty years helping women with their health, I realized something that completely changed the way I teach fitness.
We’ve become so focused on transforming our bodies that we’ve forgotten to ask,
“God, what do You want for my health?”
Instead of seeking Him first, we’ve become experts at seeking information.
We listen to influencers.
We follow trainers.
We compare ourselves on social media.
We read nutrition books.
We chase the newest trends.
But somewhere along the way, many of us stopped inviting Jesus into our health journey.
That realization is exactly why I completely rebuilt Fit God’s Way from the ground up.

Not because women needed another meal plan.
Not because they needed another workout.
Not because they needed more information.
They needed a different foundation.
The Verse That Changed Everything
Years ago, I read a verse that I’ve known for most of my life.
But this time, it landed differently.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
I realized something I’d never noticed before.
Jesus never said, “Seek the perfect body first.”
He never said, “Seek the perfect diet first.”
He never said, “Seek the perfect workout first.”
He simply said, Seek Me first.
That one verse completely changed the way I think about health.
Not because it made nutrition less important.
Not because exercise stopped mattering.
But because it reminded me that Jesus belongs at the center of every area of our lives—including our health.
Jesus never asked us to seek the perfect body. He asked us to seek Him first.
Why I Rebuilt Fit God’s Way
- I’ve spent almost three decades in the fitness industry.
- I’ve competed in fitness. I am a ESPN Fitness Champion
- I’ve coached women.
- I’ve written 3 Christian Fitness books.
- I’ve created workout programs, meal plans, devotionals, and courses.
And for a long time, I honestly believed information was the missing piece.
If women simply knew what to eat…
If they found the right workout…
If they had a better plan…
Everything would finally click.
But after working with thousands of women, I kept hearing the same thing.
“Kim, I know what to do.”
“I just can’t stay consistent.”
Every time someone said those words, my heart broke a little. Because I knew she wasn’t lazy. She wasn’t failing because she lacked information. She was exhausted from trying to carry everything on her own.
That’s when I realized the problem wasn’t a knowledge problem.
It was a discipleship problem. Women didn’t need another health plan. They needed someone to show them how to let Jesus lead their health journey.
So I made one of the biggest decisions I’ve ever made in my business.
I tore Fit God’s Way apart. The original course was full of lessons, downloads, resources, and training.
Women loved it. But I kept asking myself one question:
“If I could only teach women what matters most, what would I keep?”
The answer surprised me.
Not twenty lessons.
Not another meal plan.
Not more recipes.
Just six simple biblical shifts.
Six truths that I believe every Christian woman needs if she wants to stop striving and start putting God first.
Those six truths became the foundation for the completely rebuilt Fit God’s Way 30-Day Transformation.
It’s simpler. It’s more practical. It’s more personal.
And for the first time, I’m teaching it live over four weeks so we can learn, pray, and grow together.
Reason #1: The World Says Your Body Should Come First. God Says, “Put Me First.”
Everything in our culture points us back to ourselves. Fix yourself. Improve yourself. Perfect yourself. Look in the mirror. Try harder. Be better.
But Jesus points us somewhere completely different.
He points us to Himself.
That’s why the first step inside Fit God’s Way isn’t food.
It isn’t exercise.
It isn’t weight loss.
It’s learning how to put God first in your health.
Because if He isn’t first, everything else eventually gets out of order.
When God becomes your foundation, healthy choices stop becoming something you have to force.
Instead, they become a response to your relationship with Him.
You’re no longer trying to earn your worth.
You’re living from it.
You’re no longer chasing perfection.
You’re walking in obedience.
And that changes everything.
“If God isn’t in it, you don’t want it!”
Reason #2: The World Says, “Try Harder.” God Says, “Abide in Me.”
If you’ve ever told yourself,
“This is my week.”
“I’m finally going to stay on track.”
“This Monday will be different.”
You’re not alone.
I’ve said those same words more times than I can count.
We start the week motivated. We meal prep. We schedule our workouts. We promise ourselves that this time we’re going to stick with it.
Then life happens.
A stressful day at work. A sick child. A busy schedule. A missed workout. One unhealthy meal.
Before long, we convince ourselves we’ve failed, and we start over again next Monday.
For years, I believed the answer was more discipline.
Now I believe something completely different.
The answer isn’t stronger willpower.
The answer is a stronger dependence on God.
Jesus said,
“I am the vine, you are the branches… for without Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 (NKJV)
Notice He didn’t say,
“Without Me you’ll struggle a little.”
He said,
“Without Me you can do nothing.”
That isn’t meant to discourage us.
It’s an invitation.
An invitation to stop carrying a burden we were never meant to carry alone.
One of the reasons I completely rebuilt Fit God’s Way is because I realized information isn’t enough.
Sometimes you need someone praying with you.
Encouraging you.
Answering your questions.
Reminding you of God’s truth when you’re discouraged.
That’s why this isn’t just another online course.
It’s four weeks of live teaching, coaching, prayer, and community as we learn to depend on God instead of ourselves.
Willpower may get you started, but dependence on God is what keeps you going.
Reason #3: The World Chases Health Trends. God’s Truth Never Changes.
If you’ve been around the health world for any length of time, you’ve probably noticed something.
The rules keep changing. One week carbs are the problem. The next week it’s seed oils.
Then everyone is talking about GLP-1 medications.
Then fasting.
Then protein.
Then cortisol.
Then another expert comes along with a completely different opinion. No wonder so many women feel overwhelmed.
The truth is, health trends come and go.
God’s truth never does.
Romans 12:2 reminds us,
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
Real transformation doesn’t begin with your meal plan.
It begins with your mind.
Before we change our habits, we have to change what we’re believing.
Instead of asking,
“What’s trending?”
We begin asking,
“What does God say?”
That’s why, inside Fit God’s Way, we renew our minds with Scripture before we ever talk about changing our habits.
Because your thoughts shape your choices.
Your choices shape your habits.
And your habits shape your life.
When God’s truth becomes your foundation, you no longer feel like you’re chasing every new trend that comes along.
You have something far more stable to build your life on.
Health trends change every week. God’s truth never changes.
Reason #4: The World Teaches Control. God Teaches Stewardship.
For so many years, I believed my value was connected to how I looked.
Maybe you’ve felt that too.
If the scale went down, I felt successful. If it went up, I felt defeated.
My body became something I constantly tried to control.
But Scripture gives us a completely different perspective.
Paul writes,
“Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit… and you are not your own?”
1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (NKJV)
Think about that for a moment.
Your body isn’t a trophy.
It isn’t a project.
It isn’t your identity.
It’s a temple.
That one truth changes everything.
Stewardship isn’t about earning God’s love.
It’s responding to the love you’ve already received.
Instead of asking,
“How can I make my body look better?”
We begin asking,
“How can I honor God with the body He’s given me?”
That’s a completely different motivation.
It replaces shame with gratitude.
Pressure with purpose.
Perfection with faithfulness.
That’s why, inside Fit God’s Way, we focus on nourishing your body instead of punishing it.
Healthy eating isn’t about restriction.
Exercise isn’t about earning your worth.
It’s about caring for a gift that already belongs to God.
When you begin seeing your body through that lens, your relationship with food, fitness, and even the mirror starts to change.
Your body isn’t a project to perfect. It’s a gift to steward.
Reason #5: The World Says Exercise to Change Your Body. God Invites You to Worship Through It.
For years, I viewed exercise the way the world taught me to.
Burn calories. Lose weight. Earn your food. Fix your body.
Maybe you’ve been there too.
It’s amazing how quickly something that should be life-giving can become another burden we carry.
But what if we’ve been asking the wrong question?
Instead of asking,
“How many calories did I burn today?”
What if we asked,
“How can I honor God with the body He’s given me?”
That simple shift changes everything.
When you begin your workout with prayer…
When you thank God for a body that can move…
When you invite Him into those thirty minutes…
Exercise becomes so much more than a way to change your appearance.
It becomes an act of worship.
Colossians 3:23 reminds us,
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” (NKJV)
That includes your workouts.
You don’t exercise because you’re trying to earn your worth.
You exercise because your worth was settled at the cross.
Inside Fit God’s Way, I want every workout to become another opportunity to spend time with God instead of another item on your to-do list.
Your workout can become one more place where you meet with God.
Reason #6: The World Promises Quick Results. God Grows Faithful Women.
Our culture loves quick fixes. Lose twenty pounds in thirty days. The perfect supplement. The newest health trend. The latest injection.
The secret no one is talking about.
We’re constantly being told there’s a faster way.
But God has always been more interested in faithfulness than fast results.
Paul encourages us in Galatians 6:9:
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (NKJV)
Faithfulness isn’t flashy.
It usually isn’t exciting.
Most days it looks like opening your Bible before opening social media.
Choosing one healthy meal instead of chasing perfection.
Taking a walk.
Praying before your workout.
Trusting God when you don’t see immediate results.
One surrendered decision.
One faithful day.
One small act of obedience.
That’s how God transforms our lives.
Not overnight.
But over time.
That’s why the final step inside Fit God’s Way isn’t about reaching a finish line.
It’s about building a lifestyle of faithfulness with God at the center.
Because long after the motivation fades…
Faithfulness remains
The world promises quick results. God grows faithful women.
Why I’m Teaching This Live One Last Time
As I rebuilt Fit God’s Way, I kept thinking about the women I’ve served over the years.
So many of them told me,
“Kim, I don’t need more information. I need someone to help me live it.”
That’s exactly why I’m teaching this new version live.
Over four weeks, we’ll walk through these six biblical shifts together.
We’ll pray together.
I’ll answer your questions.
You’ll receive practical coaching, encouragement, recipes, workouts, and a workbook that helps you apply what you’re learning every single day.
More than anything, I want you to experience what it’s like to stop striving and start walking with God in your health.
This is also the last time I’ll be teaching Fit God’s Way live at this special launch price.
During this launch, you can join for $97, a $200 savings, through July 8.
After that, enrollment closes and the price increases.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time…
I truly believe this is it.
Ready to Put God First in Your Health?
Friend, my prayer isn’t simply that you’ll lose weight.
My prayer is that you’ll gain something so much greater.
Freedom from striving.
Freedom from guilt.
Freedom from believing your worth is tied to a number on the scale.
Peace that comes from knowing you’re walking with God instead of trying to do it all on your own.
That’s why I rebuilt Fit God’s Way.
Not to give you another program.
But to help you build your health on a foundation that will last.
If you’re ready to stop chasing another diet and start putting God first in your health, I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.

Closing Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You for loving us exactly as we are while faithfully transforming us into who You’ve created us to be. Help us stop chasing the world’s definition of health and begin seeking You first in every area of our lives. Renew our minds with Your truth.
Teach us to depend on You instead of our own strength.
Help us care for our bodies as an act of worship, not because we’re trying to earn Your love, but because we already have it through Jesus.
Lead every woman reading this into the freedom that only You can give.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If this article encouraged you, please share it with a friend who needs that same Christian lifestyle encouragement.
