I have so much to share with you.
Here’s my life update. A new puppy and I desperately need your help naming her. Workout music that has completely shifted my training. Something I did on my website that honestly felt like therapy. A brand new devotional in the works that I have not talked about publicly until right now. And tomorrow I start the very first Living God’s Way live mentorship and I could not be more excited.
The Scripture That Is Holding Everything Together Right Now
Before I get into any of it I want to share a scripture that has been sitting on my heart and I think it is the perfect foundation for this entire season.
Zephaniah 3:17 — “The Lord your God is in your midst a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you by his love. He will exult over you with loud singing.”
He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will exult over you with loud singing.
God is not watching from a distance hoping you get it together. He is in your midst. Right now. In the middle of the ordinary mess and the exciting news and the hard seasons and the new beginnings.
And He is singing over you.
I want you to hold onto that as you read through today because it is the thread through everything I am about to share.
I Got a New Puppy — And I Need Your Help
Okay first things first and I am SO excited about this.
I got a new dog. She is a Pomeranian and I found her online and I just fell in love immediately. She is the cutest thing I have ever seen and I cannot wait for her to get here.
But here is my problem. I cannot figure out what to name her.
I have been going back and forth and I just can’t decide. I would love your help. Go to my Instagram or Facebook and comment and give me your favorite name. I want all the ideas. Cute names. Fancy names. Biblical names. Whatever comes to your mind, I want to hear it.
And I want to share why getting her feels so meaningful right now.
In December we lost our Havanese Bentley. He was 14 years old and he was my writing companion. He was always right there next to me whenever I sat down to write — just curled up keeping me company. And losing him was really sad. I still miss him.
But you know what I love about God? He sees the little things. The everyday things. The things that might seem small to the rest of the world but matter deeply to you. Zephaniah says He is in your midst. Not just in the big moments. In the everyday ones too.
This little girl coming into our home feels like such a gift. A new companion for a new season.

The Workout Music That Is Changing Everything
So I have been really consistent with my training lately. Really consistent. And I am getting stronger, noticeably stronger. And I just want to say something about that because at my age it feels like something I was not sure could still happen.
But it is happening.
Proverbs 31:17 — “She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong.”
That is not just physical. That is intentional. That is a woman who shows up. Who does the work. Who takes care of the body God gave her. And I want to be that woman at every age and every season.
But here is what has been different lately. It is not just the workouts. It is what I have been listening to.
I have been leaning hard into Christian worship music during my training. And I can’t even explain the difference. When you are lifting to music that is declaring the goodness of God and the authority of Jesus over your life — something shifts. It stops being just physical. It becomes spiritual. It becomes warfare.
My favorite song right now is I Denounce You Satan. And I want to stop right here and pray over you.
I pray in the name of Jesus that the devil would have to release any territory he is trying to take in your life right now. Your children. Your marriage. Your finances. Your health. Your mind. Your home.
Ephesians 6:12 — “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers against the authorities against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
This is a spiritual battle. And we fight it with the Word. With worship. With bold faith that does not back down.
Isaiah 61:3 — beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for mourning. Double for your former shame. That prayer is for someone today.
And Isaiah 40:31 — “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not be faint.”
At any age. Any season. Strength renewed when we hope in Him.
Something I Did on My Website That Felt Like Therapy
Okay I need to get real with you for a second.
When I originally set up my website I had always been told and I am just being completely honest with you as my community I had always been told to hide my fitness magazine covers, workouts, and competitions. Hide the doors that God opened. Do not talk about the magazine covers. The TV appearances. All of it. Just keep it quiet.
I despise legalism. I see it so clearly now!
Because those doors were not opened by me. They were opened by God. And hiding what God did feels like hiding His faithfulness. And I am not willing to do that anymore.
Matthew 5:15 — “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house.”
I am not putting this lamp under a bowl anymore. My testimony belongs to Him. And He does not waste anything.
So I rewrote my about page. And honestly? It felt like therapy. Like finally exhaling and saying, this is who I am. This is what God did. All of it. No hiding. No shrinking. No performing.
I would love for you to go read it and tell me what you think. https://kimdolanleto.com/about
A Brand New Devotional — And I Haven’t Said This Publicly Until Now
Okay. This one I am really excited about.
I’m meeting with my literary agent this Friday about writing a brand new devotional.
And this one feels different from anything I have written before. It is all about daily life. How God meets us in it. The real stuff. The raw stuff. The moments nobody sees. The Tuesday afternoon when you are exhausted and God feels far away but He is actually closer than your next breath.
Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble.” Ever present. Not just Sunday present. Every single ordinary day present. That is what I want every page of this devotional to feel like.
And the cover, I want it to be beautiful. Something you pick up every single morning and the moment you look at it you are reminded of who you are, how much you are loved, and that God is the answer to whatever you are facing.
I keep thinking about my Strong Confident His devotional because I loved how beautiful it was and that thing sold out every single time I got a new batch in. Gone immediately. Every time.
I am praying over every word of this new one and I cannot wait to put it in your hands. I will keep you posted as it comes together.
Tomorrow I Start the First Ever Living God’s Way Live Mentorship
And lastly, tomorrow I start the very first Living God’s Way live mentorship and I could not be more excited.
For four weeks I get to go deep and do real life with these ladies. Walking them through the places where God wants to meet them, work in them, and set them free. I’m already praying over every single one of them and I just cannot wait to see what He does.
This is what Living God’s Way is all about. Not just knowing God’s Word. Walking it out. Every single day.
Before I Go, Come Back to This
Friend, God is moving. In my life. And I believe He is moving in yours too.
Go back to Zephaniah 3:17 today. He is in your midst right now. In the middle of your ordinary day. In the middle of your hard season. In the middle of your new beginning.
And He is rejoicing over you.
Not because you have it all together. Not because you did everything right this week. But because you are His. And that is enough.
Do not give the enemy one more inch. Not in your health. Not in your home. Not in your mind. Not anywhere.
You are as bold as a lion. Walk like it today.
You are called. You are chosen. You are set apart. And you were made to live God’s way.
With so much love,
